It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Beltsville Ladies Auxiliary Life Member and Past President Margaret “Peggy” Zembower on November 23, 2025. Peggy passed away peacefully at her home in Florida with family by her side.

Peggy had over 50 years of volunteer service, she was a Past President of the LAMSFA 1986-1987 and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire Rescue Association from 2005 to 2006. Peggy held a huge presence in the lives of many of us over the years. Oh the stories we could tell. She will be missed.

Peggy’s wishes were to be cremated and a service will be held in Florida. There will be a fire department Auxiliary memorial service here at a later date, most likely in the Spring with internment to follow in Cumberland.
