On Saturday October 15th the officers and members of the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, and special guests, gathered in our newly renovated hall to celebrate our 75th anniversary. Many memories were shared and stories were told during the social hour and during the catered dinner.

This evening also had a moment of somber reflection as we honored two of our own who recently passed. Past president Thomas "Penny" Collins and Active Deputy Chief Charles "Trey" Kelso.

Four very special people were honored this evening for over 50 years of service to our department. Bobby "Pops" Allen, Chaplin Emeritus Harry Hetz, Gary Snider, and Del Walcker. Each of these dedicated men are still actively serving the department today.

Top responder awards for 2021 were presented and special recognition awards were presented by President Margie Dickey and Chief Mike Montieth.

Thank you to our top responders.
