BELATED ENTRY

Former member John Green passed away November 26, 2020. He was a former member of the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, and a retired member of the Washington, D.C. Fire Department. John joined BVFD in 1971and was an active member during the 70’s.

A celebration of life and memorial service for John was held in Edgewater, MD on February 11, 2021. The Beltsville VFD was honored to be able to pay our final respects to a former member and have Engine 313 present for the viewing and memorial service. The Green family came out to take photos with the engine and asked the driver to pose with John's grandchildren.
