Beltsville units assisting in the escort this morning. BVFD member Steve Hamrick, who joined Matty and ran with him from Beltsville to Laurel as Matty finishes up one of his last days of his cross country trek trying to raise awareness for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network!

Matty Gregg is running across the country to raise funds for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN). He has raised over $125k for FCSN so far. He is on the last several hundred mile of his trip. Matty is in DC now taking a few well deserved days off. Yesterday he ran through DC and visited statiosn 23, 2, and 3.

He starts running again this Saturday 6/29, starting at the Capitol, in DC, and finishing his run for the day in Laurel, at the train station on Rt 1.
