The Members of the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, today and everyday rememberr Life Member Richard Findley. On this date 9 years ago Rich was killed as he operated as a Prince Georges County Police Officer. Rich was a dedicated member and will always be remembered.

This day is very clear in my head today as I am sure it is in many. The department will always be grateful of his service and dedication to the citizens of Prince Georges County as a Firefighter and Police Officer.

Anyone wanting to leave a post, please do so under comments area below.

RIP Rich we miss you and will always remember.

I had the honor of running with Rich for a few years as a Firefighter and as a Lieutenant. I have lots of memories of driving him on the engine and tower to a ton of calls. So glad I was able to call him a friend. I will always remember and honor him. Miss you buddy!!!
