Just after 0930 this morning Truck 31 was alerted for the building fire at 4700 Berwyn House Road in College Park. Units arrived on the scene with fire showing from the 5th floor of a unoccupied under construction building. This incident quickly escalated to an 5 plus alarm building fire. The volunteers from Beltsville were able to get a second crew together to place a engine in service, once placed in service the unit was quickly transferred to Berwyn Heights station 14 and soon after sent to the fire ground.

Since then we have been able to place our 2nd Engine in service and now transferring to Station 28 West Lanham.
