Just after 2 PM this afternoon units were alerted to the Mid Eastern Bakery at 11400 Old Baltimore Pike in Beltsville for the report of a piece of machinery on fire. Units arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the front of the building. Interior fire attack was initiated and it was quickly realized that more units were needed. A second alarm was requested. All occupants were safely evacuated from the building. Units operated on the scene for just over two hours.
