On Thursday, the Beltsville VFD was recognized during the PG County Volunteer Fireman's Association's annual awards ceremony. The department received the annual training award which is an award given for having the most training hours for a department with two stations.

We are proud to announce that two of our members also received awards. We Congratulate Al Schwartz for being inducted into the Prince George's County Volunteer Fireman's Association Hall of Fame. We also congratulate Junior Firefighter Al Diagne for being awarded Junior Member of the Year.
