Units Operate at First Due Warehouse Fire

Just before 2130 this evening Engine 311 was dispatched to 12000 - 12038 Old Baltimore Pike for alarm bells. This building is a large 2 story warehouse 200 X 600 split up into several different occupants. As the crews from Engine 311 were checking the exterior of the building they noticed light smoke showing from 12016 Old Baltimore Pike. The Engine requested the full box assignment. Engine 311 advanced an attack line into 12016 and found heavy smoke conditions, the crew was able to locate the fire and with the assistance of the sprinkler system were able to contain the fire. Crews operated on the scene for just over 2 hours.
