Iron and Steel NYC to Arlington Run

Members of the Beltsville VFD stood by today for the Iron and Steel NYC to Arlington Run. At least 500 motorcycles escorted several pierces of steel from the World Trade Center to Arlington County. The New York based Fire Family Transport Foundation and the Iron and Steel motorcycle run team will deliver steel to the Arlington County Fire Department for a future memorial. The Iron and Steel riders plan to arrive at the Pentagon about 5 p.m. A private ceremony will be held there.
