Just before nine this evening units were dispatched to 3120 Powder Mill Rd (Paint Branch Nursing Home) for a reported deck fire attached to the house with possible people trapped. Engine 411 arrived to find a 2 story nursing home with fire showing, the crew advanced an attack line to the interior. Engine 312 arrived and the crew assisted in the control of the fire as Truck 31 assisted in removing of the residents. Crews were about to remove and account for all residents and contain the fire. One resident and one firefighter were transported to local hospitals. Crews were able to assist in relocating beds to an area of the facility not affected by the fire.
