The members of the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department announce the passing of Past Chief John Coleman.

John joined the Beltsville VFD in March 1964, he was a life members of our department and held the office of Fire Chief from 1970 thru 1981 and then again in 1985. He was elected to the Prince Georges County Volunteer Fireman's Hall of Fame on September 17, 2010.

A memorial service will be held sometime in the spring of 2018.
