Yesterday evening the fire service lost a true legend. Randy Krob, past chief of the Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad Inc. was one of a kind. He was a leader, a mentor and most of importantly to all of us at Beltsville VFD he was family. Chief Krob spent many years teaching at the University of Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute. You will never be forgotten Chief.
