The Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department is proud to be celebrating our 70th year of service to the citizens of Beltsville and Prince Georges County. This evening Life Members and Active members of the Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary, gathered to hold our annual awards banquet at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City.

The department would like to congratulate all our members for their dedication and commitment. Below are some of the awards that our members received.

The Department was proud to announce The Tom Collins Leadership Award to be presented annually to a member of our department and would like to congratulate Mike Wertman for receiving this award.

The department recognized Life Member Tom Collins for is dedication and service to our department through the years. Tom was the first active members after the charter was established.

The First Baptist Church of Beltsville presented President Margie Dickey with an Humanitarian Award in recognition of her Love and Compassion.

Department recognized our top responders for 2016.

Ladies Auxiliary received a plaque for there support to the FD.

Department received a plaque from Prince George's County Council presented by Councilwomen Mary Lehman recognizing our 70 years of service. In return we gave Mary Lehman a plaque thanking her for her support through the years.

Department presented Karen Coakley, president of Beltsville Citizens association a plaque for her support.

Department present Keith & Erin Holland of the First Baptist Church of Beltsville for there support.

Department received a certificate from the MSFA for our 70 years of service.

Department present Samantha Schwartz with a computer bag with department patch on it for her work on setting this event up.

Members gave President Dickey charms for a charm bracelet to celebrate her Birthday.
